What is Water Kefir?

Also known as Tibicos. Water kefir is a probiotic beverage that is made by fermenting sugar, water, with special kefir grains/scoby. Unlike regular kefir, which is made from cow, sheep, or goat milk, water kefir is dairy-free and vegan. Thought to have been originated in the 1800’s, this kind of ferment has been around for ages.

Why drink Water Kefir?

Besides packing a powerful punch of probiotics, this is a delicious fizzy drink that has been shown to improve immunity, slow cancer cell growth and improve overall health. An alternative source of probiotics that is vegan-friendly, and lactose-friendly.

What does Water Kefir taste like?
